[Verizon] Liquid JB rom!

Got trickstermod and adjusted the color just a bit to make the whites a little less blue. Went from the default blue 214 to 205 and contrast from -24 to -20. Colors really pop out for me now and not so dim. Really digging the Trinity kernel

Im doing this after work tonight! Same specs. Its too blue for my liking

Its really cool. It has presets for Franco and Trinity and you can set your own. The default trinity colors apparently are 135 135 214 with contrast-24. A few very minor tweaks and its perfect for me now!!
 
This has been awesome so far. The only thing I'm missing now is a custom nav bar and notification toggles (not widgets), then I will have the perfect JB ROM :cool:.

I only see power widget options in the notification bar, not toggle switches. In previous Liquid ROMs you could bring up and hide the switches by pressing the menu button in the notification bar when you pull the shade down. In this ROM, that menu button only takes you to the phone settings like in stock Android.
 
Just had my first unexpected reboot. Not sure what happened as I was just scrolling through the screens and decided I wanted to watch some netflix, so I opened the app but before it opened, the phone rebooted and sat at the Google screen for longer than usual. Kinda weird. Haven't done any mods on it just running straight Liquid, but before that my battery life was pretty decent. I was a tad over 2hrs screen time with 20% left so I have a lot to look forward to if this is just an alpha build :-)
 
Had a couple of unexpected reboots. I hope liquid gets this up and running fully. I love their ROMs and can't wait to be back on it. I personally really like the blue tint on the colors as well.
 
I read where the boot without reaching launcher was a bug with ICS version of Liquid as well. That's enough for me to delete my liquid nandroid. I figure I have a fixed number of times I can press my power button and remove my case's back door. I avoid both of those if possible.
 
On ICS I never had a single reboot at all and loved it. This is an alpha version so it is very early. I am sure they will have it fixed and working great like their last ROM.
 
Yea I ran all the Liquid builds for ICS and never had a single reboot. This is an alpha build so I'm more than positive that the wrinkles will be ironed out before even beta builds I'm sure

My favorite ICS rom was AOKP b/c of the tweaking it allowed.

On JB, I've tried liquid, BAMF, AOKP, and XenonHD and keep trying each as new builds come out, but keep coming back to Xenon.
 
I haven't had a single reboot since flashing Liquid. Are you guys using multiple kernel control apps, e.g. SetCPU and the native control or SetCPU and trickster? If those conflict, it could cause problems.
 
So I was listening to music yesterday when my phone went black. No 'powering off' popup or any kind of warning really. Just went black, music stopped.

Couldn't turn the phone back on for a few minutes. Had to pull the battery out/in which did then allow me to power on.

Liquid was my favorite ROM regarding customization and buttery goodness but this kind of issue is enough to say goodbye to that nandroid. Hopefully the next release fixes this problem :thumbdown:
 
A lot of drama going on with TeamLiquid it seems... Morfic has dropped his support for Liquid so no more Trinity kernels baked in. And now TeamLiquid has their beta links in and out of threads. Kind of worrisome...
 
I like the trinity kernel. I like its blue tint. I downloaded a version of it so I guess I can always flash that one if it works.
