Help Verizon Lollipop Camera Mute?

Using a download called Camera Mute to silence my Verizon Note 3 camera sounds until Lollipop. After update appears not to be working and I cannot find a way to mute the camera shutter sound?

Help?

Hate it because we have small kids and the wife likes to take pictures when they are sleeping.

Have you tried turning down the volume on the phone? That is how mine works now (no Lollipop yet).

I found an app called Enforced Stream Silencer to use for disabling the camera shutter sound on my Note 3. It still works after updating to Lollipop, too

I think it's arbitrary and obnoxious how Verizon and others have imposed their ideas/worries about camera use on their customers - by removing the option to disable the camera shutter sound. It's none of their business if people want to use their camera to take pictures without being forced to try and make anyone else around them aware they are doing so. There are unlimited legitimate reasons why anyone would not want their phone to make up simulated 35mm camera sounds when taking photographs - without being forced to make temporary, inconvenient steps to do so - like having to turn down/mute their entire phone beforehand, and of course having to remember to restore their volume settings afterwards. Just stop it Verizon. Put the stock Android settings choice for the camera shutter sound back in - so people can turn it off easily, if they wish.

Totally agree. Tried to snap a picture of our new puppy sleeping, forgot about the new camera sound and ended up spending another hour trying to get him to go back to sleep! Grrrr....
