Root [Verizon] Looking for stable rom.

Agreed . . . Play it safe & wipe your system, & data before the rom flash. My dirty install/integration of apps, etc. was most likely due to the roms being similarly designed (same developer)

Do I have to have the latest TWRP. I'm running 2.5.5 and when I try to get 2.7 it wanted me to download yahoo tool bar and shit.. Won't do it

It worked just fine using TWRP. Although I went back to Carbon. I like changing themes. And I can't figure out how to do that on clean ROM. Any ideas

I'm on day 5 of heavy usage of CleanROM 8.1 and it is working 100% perfect. I'm extremely happy with it. In fact I was considering getting the GS4 or 5 soon but my phone is working so good I think I will stick with what I have.

1 year 5 months later and I'm still on CleanRom 8.1 and it is the most rock solid ROM I have ever experienced. No bugs whatsoever and still working great. However it does seem to be a little slower but I don't know if that's because my apps are getting bigger and taking up more resources, or if I need to clean stuff out?? Does an Android phone need to be periodically cleaned and purged, like Windows for example?

Perhaps just boot into your recovery and clear the cache and dalvik cache. That would clean things up a bit;)
Glad to hear you're still rockin' the S3...and on CleanRom too!!
