[Verizon] MMuzzy's Jelly Bean 4.2.1 - JOP40D

I finally made the switch to a 4.2.1 Rom despite all the things I have been hearing and I am blown away.

This rom is super slick, fast, so far it has been reliable. Its basically stock. I found it over on XDA and after poking through the thread I decided to jump ship from BB to MMuzzy and everything went smooth.

I recommend to do a full wipe.

I did...

Wipe Data/factory reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Battery Stats

I did not use a 3rd party program or app to do a "super wipe" but I am running the latest ClockworkMod Recovery which I updated in the app called Rom Manager by clicking Flash latest ClockworkMod Recovery.

I didn't even use Titanium Backup this time... as Google automatically restored everything upon starting up the new rom, everything started downloading and syncing. Most of my apps sync up to the cloud so upon first start they will import all their data. The "cracked" apps needed to be re-installed but I keep those .Apk files on my Dropbox so thats an easy import.

All in all, very happy so far.

I installed a Soft key color change mod to make the bottom soft keys blue again as well as give me a 1% counter round battery - as well as running No Wallpaper to save on battery life

MMuzzy does a good job getting stable builds out fast. He's normally one of the first available ROMs when a new Android version comes put. I was on his 4.1.2 build when it first came out and I ran it for a long time. I'm on a similar 4.2.1 build from baldwinguy77 at rootzwiki and love it.

stock + stable > mods + buggy, IMO

Did you guys flash from 4.1 or update then flash from 4.2? Because i updated to 4.2 and have been trying to flash Muzzy and it isn't working out for me... tried bot CWM and Tw. On Galaxy Nexus GSM

I was on Bugless Beast 4.1.1 - What do you mean updated to 4.2?

You do realize this is the Verizon Section and this is a Toro Rom which means its built for Verizon Galaxy Nexus phones using CDMA/LTE Technology, right?
