This could be sign for an esteem 2. Although that phone is also similar to LG nitro HD. But it'll hard for metro yo get this caliber of phone . Who knows !!!

Lets protest to Metro that we want an Esteem v2.0!

They need to come out with a couple bad boy phones like this. If they want to catch up with the nation wide carriers they need to bust out a few high end ones and take a chance!

I agree but the prize will be really FUN to see!!! Lol

Ya have to keep in mind in order for metro to get the latest phones they have to pay a certain price , ever wonder why do we get old version of phones that been out for other carriers? thats beacause after theres not such a demand for a specfici phone these phone makers look for smaller companies to sell it to them for a cheaper price after they made miliions when it was first released, then comes metro and anoounces for example the samsung galaxy s one everyone is excited about it but its been out for several years out for other carriers........ if ya ask why dont metro buy these exclusive phones first, take for example the galaxy s2 the full retail price for it without contract was about $600-$700 now imagine metro trying to sell phones for aound that price.... i think ya get the idea. final conclusion no contract cell phone company = affordable phone or else bad for business!

$749 ;)

and also with metro phones they have less specs than other carriers to sell them at a lower price.

ouch $749 and yes ur right we get less hardware for the price that metro can afford to sell to us. but i cant see any metro customer spending their rent money or mortgage money on a cell phone lol.

uh huh i wouldn't go that high for a phone that will be obsolete in 2 months or less cause something better will come out fast, why is android doing us like that, lmao. And no i hope peeps don't go spend there rent money for no phone....

perhaps metro should do what bestbuy are doing i believe you pay an extra $100 then when the next phone comes out u trade in your old phone and you get $100 off or something like that i gotta call them again and ask them how that buy back program works.

Or they should do like radio shack, get money earn towards your next purchase. They use to do it but i never recycle my phones. :D

i feel ya lol i didnt want to get sell my indulge so i ended up giving it to my best friend as a gift he was still stuck with the samsung messager II lol anyways metro should have a reward program of some sort maybe if we pay a lil extra they could have a feature for exclusive customers that will allow them to have a new phone perhaps 1 month earlier than the rest or dunno some discount of some sort. geeze they need to pay us as consultants we giving them free ideas lol.

Well metro has come a long way eventually we will have those high end phones I mean look at the esteem when it came out for Verizon as the revolution how much did it cost? And all I know after the rebate I ended up paying $ 249 for my Esteem so it will happen

Well think back to the android phones Metro has had in the past year. They released the huawei M835 (originally huawei comet for T-mobile). The comet was out a year before metro got it too. The samsung galaxy indulge (originally samsung conquer for Sprint). Idk if sprint is still selling the phone but metro got the same version a year but with 4G after which was last year. I could be missing some other ones, therefore I aplogize in advanced. Now the lg esteem (lg revolution for verizon) was released late last year when the revolution was out earlier last year (not bad). Now even though Verizon is coming out with the lg spectrum, I honestly don't think Metro will get it anytime soon since they're already pushing with the Samsung attain and LG connect which are both 4G. I don't think Metro can pull off three 4G LTE devices this year since they're having a "new" blackberry out this year as well. OR maybe they can't afford it lol

But it'd be awesome if metro ACTUALLY pulled it off with the "esteem 2" but I would agree with the other threads in this post that it definitely won't carry the same specs over to metro since they tend to pull off some hardware and specs to make your cheap service worthwile lol

give it about another month or 2 than it will be consider out of date...;)
Thats my whole point buddy "out of date" i think this metro phone craze is more of a fad than anything else, people buy phones just to come back here and brag about it.......epic anyways to each his own. i also have the esteem and like i said in other post im not buying another phone till sometime in 2013 my personal needs in a phone is basic stuff i dont need a dual core processor when in reality 98% that have a smart phone do 1 task a time. so that makes it useless to me. i love the galaxy s2 for its sleek design and huge screen but would i just buy it just to join the crowd? NEVER!!! until then im keeping my esteem till its consider an antique.

true that , but i never buy a phone just to join the crowd, but i for one will not buy a phone for almost a grand...:D

I like really fast phone that's the thing !!!. But then again ill just make my wise decision and wait for a fitting candidate that is entirely worth upgrading ..

You know your right about that see i never relised how much of a better quality phone i had till i had my first android phone which was the indulge although the battery life on it wasnt so good, overall i never had a lag issue. then my friend's wife bought the admire and man could i tell the difference in performance but there was another android phone that was even more sluggish i believe it was the htc phone from metro which i believe has 600mhz ? if not was another phone but anyways wow playing angry birds on those slow phones aint the same! guess being always on a 1ghz android smart phone with 4g LTE made me think all of the android phones were the same and as far as the LG optimus........another epic phone for playing games on or just checking email on. Thank god i now have my esteem woooot!
