New OTA update, i'm trying to make it stop and skip, but it's being a lot more persistent than the past. Anyone updated it yet, and if so did you lose root?

Yes, you will lose root if you take the OTA.
To stop the update and notifications, use Titanium to freeze SDM.

Are you rooted and running a custom ROM and your phone is trying to update? Most custom ROM's take out the update...so if you are running a custom ROM your phone shouldn't be trying to update.

nope using towelroot and stock. I froze SDM and the updates stopped.

Well, if you ever want to run a custom ROM that will take care of that for you. The ones I like are Hyperdrive RSL8 (I had to stop using it because for some reason when I am on my VZW network extender at home it eats my battery up quick). I then moved to the Jasmine ROM and stayed on it for a long time and then upgrade to the Jasmine 2.4.4 version, but for some reason cannot get the hotspot to work. So, now I have moved on to biggins and love it. All 3 of these are great ROM's and very easy to flash.
