Help Verizon note 3 (unlocked) on AT&T

Lurker
Sorry if this has been asked already I can't find a thread on it. I have a Verizon Note 3 unlocked I'm using on AT&T'S network everything works fine except all my incoming calls have a + in front of them for example +32 3222 4444 when it should be 1 323 222 4444 because all my incoming calls come in like this I can't return none of my incoming calls from my call log cause the phone thinks I'm dialing another country, AT&T won't help cause I didn't buy my phone from them, I have a stock unrooted 4.4.2 phone thanks for any help

The area code rules are set in control panel, phone and modem options.
If they are set correctly and your country/region code (i.e., +1 for US
residents) is added to your phone numbers as soon as you tab out of the
number field, from the Contacts Folder, go to Actions, Call Contact, New
Call... , Dialing Options… and remove the check from Automatically add
country/region code to local phone numbers. When this is unchecked, the
country code should only be added if you check the phone number by clicking
the buttons to the left of the number field (Business, Business Fax etc).

If that doesn't work, try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maplekeycompany.apps.numberfixer (the app might help)

I'm having the same problem! This page is the only reference I can find to the issue. I have an unlocked, unrooted, verizon s4 I'm using on the AT&T network. Everything works fine, except for this call issue. All calls come in with a "+" and I can't return a call without retyping it without the "+"

I tried messing with the area code settings (settings>my device>call>assisted dialing) but those didn't help. (That's the only place I could find area code type settings.

Oh, and I had to use an app ("Number Fixer") to remove a "+" that all my saved contacts had at the beginning. So I can now call from my contact list, I just can't return calls from the "recent" calls. *sigh*

I'm still looking for a solution.

I too am having the same problem. Looks like an issue with verizon note 3's being used on gsm carriers. I am on Cricket. Everything else works fine as the first post stated. Can anyone come up with a solution?

Cricket here as well, same issue, hours and hours of researching, contacting Cricket, no fix yet. Hey, for a $35 a month phone bill, I can live with it. Quick work around, use the direct dial widgets and create a folder on the home page for most frequently called users.
