Verizon owners

Another issue I'm having is I turned on the ability to wave your hand over the phone to scroll web pages and whatnot....hasn't done it once yet. I think this things going back asap.....
The biggest issue with this is that it only works in a select few applications, like the stock e-mail app, when you're reading an e-mail (not the folder list), or when you're using the Samsung music player, while the track is in full screen.

The option is Air Browse, and it DOES say "Move between pictures, pages, or music tracks"

For pictures, it's not the folder list, or the thumbnails, but when you're viewing a single image, you can scroll them left or right.

Pictures = pics in full screen
Pages = viewing an e-mail in full screen
Music tracks = when the song is in full screen

I like the big screen, handset wise I can't complain I seem to got a good one as I dont have any of the issues others seem to be talking about online. However I never really did like TouchWiz, which is why I use CM10.2 on my S3. For the most part I have been able to get it set up to my liking.

DRILLINDX- I have my lock screen set to a pattern and it removes the option to set up/turn on multiple widgets on the home screen. I am not sure what you have for your lock screen security but if you turn it to swype the option will again be there to turn on multiple widgets on the home screen.

Hmmm- Did you try turning your lock screen back to swype for security and then go to the lock screen settings? I have Verizon and have the pattern and don't have the option of multiple widgets on home screen but if I change back to swype security and then go back to lock screen setting my multiple widgets option is there and can be turned on.

If you need secure lock screen instead of swipe and are rooted you can also install Xposed Framework with the following modules: "Maximize Widgets", "Samsung Multiple Widgets", "Enable Camera on Lockscreen" & "Wanam Xposed". In Wanam Xposed, under 'lockscreen', select "enable quick PIN unlock"

Maybe its not a verizon thing. but when the screen is off. If I hold my hand over the sensor.. the phone sorta turns on.. looks like its sinking in water with bubbles floating towards the stop of the screen. a couple of icons.. and the screen goes black again. not sure what you'd call that mode... kinda neat though

that said.. I am in swipe mode.. and I have multiple widgets enabled. Try using both favorite and camera.. (still in swipe mode) and when the screen is locked, I dont really see those items. do I need to change something else?

Very happy so far, excellent battery life, amazing screen, no issues with signal or wifi, call quality is fine, camera is good, and it flies. Like the S - pen too.

I've gotten that a few times...anyone know what it is?
You can either find it in the Application manager and turn it off, or check out the update that came out either today or yesterday in the Play store. That might contain a fix.

The third option would be to run it from the app drawer, and set it up.

I've read some posts on it here, but never seen it myself. watch-on not sure if thats the same thing. Is the samsung/3rd party app to control TV/DVRs I think
