[Verizon] PANIC. Please help. Verizon Gnex rooted.

Hey everyone,

So I've been using CWM to flash euroskank Jellybro CM nightlies to my phone for the past week. I switched today to the thunderstick red bull rom. I think I flashed the wrong version of the mod to my phone (not the verizon version) because ever since, my phone has not been able to get a network signal. In settings, under 'about phone' it reads:

Network:unknown
Signal Strength-odBm 99asu
mobile network type-UNKNOWN:0
Service state: Out of Service
Roaming: Not roaming
Mobile network state: Disconnected

I have tried to reboot into recovery and restore backups but nothing has worked. I have even tried to flash the verizon version of the thunderstick red bull rom and it is still the same. I need help, does anyone have any advice?

Thank you in advance,
James

I can restore a backup but it doesnt help fix the network connection. Im not sure what to do.

Easy. Don't panic. I'm going to link you the proper radio file to flash and you'll be better... Flash it from cwm recovery. Don't panic... I'll be right back with the file.

You'll need to transfer this file over to your phone from a computer. In this state, because your phone is using the wrong radio files, you have no connectivity, so you can't download it. If you download it to a computer, you can use a usb cable to push the right radio via adb shell.

Here's the file. Get to a computer.

Thank you so much for the fix! Everything is up and working! I truly appreciate it. BTW What is your favorite JB 4.1.1 mod so far?

I like codename Android for JB. Feel free to try anything you want, only make sure you can restore if you get into doo doo. :p. Use the WugFresh automatic restorer program thingy. It's fantastic. You need a computer though. :)

fwiw...doing this on a Mac is easier than windows...im on a mac. No drivers needed on a mac is the biggest advantage. The commands only change a little so for the following:

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-toro-primekk15.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-toro-i515.ek02.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio-cdma radio-cdma-toro-i515.ek05.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot -w update image-mysid-icl53f.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem lock

on a mac it would be
./adb-mac
./fastboot-mac

then the rest of the line is the same. Super easy. You do it in terminal window obviously with it in the directory of all your files.

Whoa! What do you mean?! I've been using the CM10 unofficial *preview* build and it's the most functional and stable ROM I've ever flashed! If you've found a bug let me know, because I've been looking.
