Has anyone played with the photo sphere? Seems really cool but how do I view the sphere after I take the pics? If I go into my gallery it won't let me. Do I need to update to the 4.2 gallery as well? I am currently on 4.1.1

It sounds like that's just an inherent bug with the camera app being on 4.1. I was hearing the same thing at the XDA thread until I looked just now, and apparently he's got them working.

He's also got the 4.2 swipe keyboard working and in flashable zips.

I think you need to upload the picture to your Google plus page right after taking it.

Then go to your google plus page to view and save the photo .jpg

Thanks for the help guys. I got it working and am able to view it in my gallery. Any tricks with it though? Everything I do tends to be blurry or mismatched.

Have to extremely steady and even then the exposure adjustments between each picture are wrecking most of mine. Engadget reported the same issue with both the Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 so I'm not sure if the firmware need to be updated to help with it.

JBSourcery has Photosphere up & running as part of the 4.2 mod package (which includes the camera/gallery, keyboard and the deskclock (which stinks IMO) I have played with it, but it seems to have a lot of trouble seaming the photos together so that everything lines up. It may be me... I shall have to practice more with it.

As far as viewing it, the 4.2 gallery allows you to zoom in and scroll left, right, up or down in the sphere. Hope this helps :)
