Welcome to AF :D Sorry to hear you are having issues.

The instruction on how to root/unroot are in this thread http://androidforums.com/verizon-ga...how-all-things-root-samsung-galaxy-nexus.html and http://androidforums.com/verizon-ga...49-how-root-vzw-lte-samsung-galaxy-nexus.html

I am not sure what tool you used "super root" maybe superboot? If you were able to flash a rom you may just need to flash gapps in recovery.

Since this is a CDMA/LTE phone I am moving this thread over to our VZW nexus forums ;)

Your problem is that you rooted without enough knowledge. A fair mistake, but one that is not fun.

So you need to clarify:

-what is super root? Can you point to a link to what you used?
-Which ROM? Google Apps is a set of apps, not a rom. If you just flashed the Gapps, that is what screwed it all up. Do a factory reset.
-Stay unrooted? But you are rooted now? sorry, I am just a bit confused. Do you want your final position to stay as it is (rooted) or be unrooted? We can help with either, but you get to make the decision.

-The guides (EDIT: while the green people can help, I meant written guides :p )can help you unroot. Or, I (along with many others) can help in this thread.

As for undoing this, do read up on what is going on. While it is hard to brick this phone, rooting plays with core system files and is not to be taken lightly.
