Root [Verizon] Possible to install another OS on GN2?

When reading about some of the alternative phone OSes like Firefox mobile, Ubuntu, WebOS mobile, etc... it seems like they typically are using Nexus devices. Has there been any work to get one of these installed on a GN2?

I haven't seen anything else being developed for the Note 2 as of right now. It seems that the newer Nexus phones (Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4) will be the only ones they get ported to for a while since they're so mod-friendly.

Give it time for the devs to dig into the source. There are plenty of AOSP ROMs being built for this thing daily... I see no reason that we can't see some of the newly offered OS hit our devices.
