Ordered on 6/23 @ a premium dealer in Illinois. I was charged the day I ordered it.

32 GB White
32 GB Blue

Just got the shipping information, both will be delivered on Tuesday to the dealer.

Only ordered them to keep our unlimited data, of which we only use about 1.5GB a month, but with the way phones are evolving I know that we will only use more data. I'll put them up for sale as soon as I get my hands on them and wait for another phone to replace both of our original Incredibles.

I don't think any driver is going to risk their job. Here's your answer

  • Indirect Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager or someone at a neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present.
  • Direct Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address. If no one is at the address, we reattempt delivery.

Mine says indirect, so i'm going to print a a copy of the tracking page and use that to put my signed note on

wow, today the package went from picked up, to "in transit," on overnight shipping. is there any way the package makes it from memphis to SoCal by tomorrow afternoon?

Anybody have any experiences with this to share?

Sounds like a good idea. I've often wondered if they would give us blank door tags to fill out and leave when a package is coming.

I'm in the same boat, and was afraid to have that same thought. I won't say it is "impossible". I WILL say that I have received some FedEx packages before the "estimated delivery date" in the past. So, a "definite maybe". :D

I think I'll leave a note on the door tomorrow just in case.

When the tracking finally says "on truck for delivery" or "out for delivery" you should see it that day.

Ok... so my phone is at my local fedex facility, Gnex is prepped for my fiancee, removed all of her important data from her phone and showed how to put on the Gnex, and all of my stuff is on a memory card.

So long as fedex shows up at the normal time at work I'll have 30-60 minutes to activate her sim, swap sims, factory wipe my Gnex, get a bump charge on the GS3, and go to the airport.:p

WOW! Now that's an 11th hour and HAIL MARY for sure.

My daughter and I have been messing around with ours since Friday evening. It's been a pleasure to use with favorable connectivity that just about matches my HTC INC which went above and beyond when it came to reception. You will not regret playing with the S3. A stunning display for sure.

So I was curious about when the 14 day return started so if I have any issues and today was told by a verizon rep it starts when the item ships. So essentially you get 10 or less days to try out the phone. It better not have any signal issues otherwise im boxing it up and sending it right back tomorrow when I receive it. This is ridiculous. It should go from when you receive the phone not when it ships especially since I got shafted and had it shipped the 5th and had to wait over the weekend.

IMO, it should start from when you activate the phone, because before that you can't do anything with it anyway. You might want to ask another CS rep just to see what they say. From what I've read in this whole thread, VZW CS reps are about on par with chimps when it comes to what they know.

Ordered 6/27 at local VZW store
2 16GB Pebble Blue
Shipping confirmation email received today at 1:30PM
FedEx tracking page shows Standard Overnight shipping with estimated delivery 7/10 by 3PM

Why? Fill out and sign the door tag, which they take, and they leave the package. It was my intention to use the blank door tag in lieu of a handwritten note.

You lose a day since you don't have the door tag until they make their first attempt....

They make a delivery attempt and leave the slip on day 1. Then you fill out the slip and they come the NEXT day, take your slip and leave the goodies.

But if you know when it's coming you can leave your own note (which I'll write on my printed tracking printout) and then they can leave it on the first day they come by.

Did that make sense?

Well, I was just searching through the Customer Service Agreement, and it actually is a little confusing about the 14 day return issue. In some places it says "from date of purchase" and in others it says "within 14 days of activation". So, I suggest you check it out yourself and draw your own conclusion pertinent to your situation. Here's the link. Just use your browser to search for "14" and check out what it shows each time you find the 14 (some are in addresses, but just keep going).

You guys are seriously starting to make me worried I wont see my phone for another week!

Didn't you try the fedex tracking trick out? Order Location > Order Number

so it should be like A123456_001234567 (A123456 = order location) (1234567 = order number) from your pre order email?

That's how I figured out mine without getting my tracking info, setup email alerts and so when something changes it will notify me.

Why is mine the only one coming 2nd day? whah, whah, whah.

Seriously, I've said to all the other whiners that if mine ships by 7/9 then they have met their commitment - oh well.

Since Saturday my tracking report states the package left FedEx Facility-Newark (I assumed their hub in Newark Airport)
And since Saturday until now, it was sitting in Elizabeth sorting facility (two towns away from me)
Tracking though states Jul 10 7pm est. delivery
I am just crossing my fingers that I will get delivery tomorrow at 1pm instead of Jul 10.

Well, yes, but you missed my intention when I said "I've often wondered if they would give us blank door tags to fill out and leave when a package is coming." I meant, they would give us some blank ones ahead of time to keep at the house, and put out when a package was coming, just like you can get, for example, certified mail labels from the post office to use at home. That way instead of filling out their own copy of a door tag when the driver doesn't find you home, he can just use the one you left for him, fill it out (it is already signed by you) take it with him, and leave you the package.

Please don't insult chimps like that! :D

Maybe you could substitute with Apple (iPhone) employees

All these questions about shipping. Do none of you ever buy stuff online and have it shipped to you? :D

Ordered 6/20, got my shipping email earlier today. CC charged, Fedex says "picked up" earlier today (7/8), Standard Overnight with estimated delivery on 7/10. Just another data point.

Figures that I had prematurely given up on getting my phone in a timely fashion and decided to plan a last minute family vacation this coming week. I won't even be here when the phone arrives

I'm right there with you! I'll be breathing the clean air under the redwoods while my SIII chokes on the exhaust from the delivery truck.:p

Ah yes. Just make sure you fill on the tracking number

Wow, relax man! Everything is going to be okay. It's just a phone. You'll have 10 days to test it. More than enough
