Verizon Price Increase

After over 20 years I left Big Red. After trying out a couple of others, I ended up the MVNO US Mobile.

We left Big Red years ago and switched to MNVO Patriot Mobile (they share our values). We still ended up with Verizon SIMs and our same phone numbers, but cut our bill in half since we're not paying for Verizon's concerts and stadiums.

Wow! It's been almost 2 years since I wrote the post above. I ended up making the jump to T-Mobile. I went kicking and screaming, as I was not a fan of the up and coming T-Mobile. However, I wasn't "running to" them as much as I was "running away from" Verizon and their outrageous pricing plans. Now that it has been 2 years, I couldn't be more happier, and more sorry at the same time that I didn't go to T-Mobile sooner. I have had better connectivity, pricing, better plan options, satellite options, active voice translator (really works well), and more. The only reason to look back at Verizon now it to see why I didn't leave them sooner. Oh, the day after I left them, Verizon sent me a voucher for $500 if I would come back. Nope!

It was all principle, but don't think for a moment that I didn't consider it to get the money, then drop them again! I guess I have some "ethics" after all! Besides, it would only be a matter of time before they got their money back from me.
