Member
Phone is Samsung Galaxy Note II I605
Trying to install I605VRZMC3 stock rom.
Odin gets to 'system.img' and hangs.
Same thing after four attempts to install.

I don't know what else to tell.

Any help appreciated.

What version of Odin are you using?
Perhaps a fresh download of the stock rom?

Not sure, but what Android version are you currently on?
I'm not that familiar with the Note 2 versions, but 4.3 on the S3 has the Knox bootloader and any attempt to downgrade will brick the S3.

Like I said, I'm not too familiar with the Note 2, but I thought I would mention that about Knox. ;)

Odin 3.07

Udate:
P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; } Having problems installing stock rom. Read several post but no luck yet.
Used Odin-3.07 to install KIES_HOME_I60505VRAMC3_I605VZWAMC3_1098177_REV04_u ser_low_ship.tar.md5
All seems to work OK. However, there is no service, no phone #, no IMEI, no serial #, a semi-transparent black dialog box on screen, a red prompt that goes away quickly stating phone is in safe mode and not everything will work properly. 'lsusb' does not list phone therefore no access to 'adb' (debugging is on). Reinstalled with Odin three times... same thing each time. Other problems also.

Any help appreciated.

Are you trying to unroot, or just install the stock, rooted rom?

The reason I ask is, that looks like a complete file to unroot, but to do so, you need the .pit file too.

What link are you getting that from? XDA?
