It seems like if the mods over at RootzWiki have their way, CNA won't be allowed to post there and host their ROM anymore. They've done some pretty bad things in the past that have gone unanswered for...

Let's keep discussion about this Rom. Thanks. :) We can talk about past offenses in the Android Lounge.

flashed (cuz Steven is on it) this ROM

good: love the startup image, tons of options that AOKP didn't have (profiles, ascending ringtone, safe headset volume setting, notification light options for various apps and settings), comes with several overclock options I haven't seen before (like powersave)

Unlike AOKP ICS, when you reduce the nav bar button height and width and make a phone call, it doesn't rotate 180 degrees and make it impossible to end calls. (Same thing for incompatibility with several apps.)

bad: like all JB ROMs (that I have flashed thus far), your apps aren't reloaded from the Play Store, Gmail doesn't sync, and it merges contacts that I don't want merged. I'd also like to see the brightness slider that AOKP uses, but I'll take the preset button for now.

Will have to play with it over the weekend for further impressions, but I'd say it's a good combo of CM and AOKP for sure. Definitely a daily driver.

So anyone else on this rom? This was one of the first (well maybe 2nd rom) I flashed when I first got the Gnex.

Thoughts?

By the way, I am still on b40 AOKP. :p

This is the most feature-rich jellybean ROM there is. I am using it with the lean kernel exp. If any ROM has battery problems, lean kernel fixes it for me always. This thing flies.

May give this a go if I have time. But I also may wait it out as I have a GSM Nexus in hand. Waiting for my sim to arrive from Straight Talk. ;)

Seems to be a nice ROM. Smooth and stable. Only thing I have noticed is on the lock screen when playing music part of the album cover is cut off.

Anyone know how to edit the Nav keys? I would really like words instead of the home back and recent icons.

I'm struggling with this.... :D

Rom installed fine, but ran into issues with exchange service FC'ing after flashing inverted apps via Rom Toolbox Pro (jRummy). My other inverted email also FC'd so had to reflash the rom to fix. That's when I found out you have to reflash gApps after a rom update. Apparently there's different versions for JB roms.

Sent a small donation. I'm glad to be back on a Codename ROM. Any chance of getting the Led Torch notification toggle working on GNex?
Thanks!

Just flashed this a couple of hours ago and and have to say its pretty impressive so far. Its very fast, packed full of features and comes the closest to reminding me of AOKP M6. I really missed having the weather and calender events on the lockscreen. Hopefully the battery life is as good as I was getting on XenonHD.

Hello All,

I did the following:

Went into Clock Work Mod Recovery, and did a nandroid of my previous AOKP B40 ICS ROM.

Wiped Data/Cache/Dalvik/Battery Stats and went into Mounts and Storage and selected format system and selected "Yes" to format the system.

Then flashed the Codename Jelly Bean ROM (Codename-Android - 3.0.0-GN-VZN) followed by it's GApps (CNA - JB-GAPPS-20120726-signed.zip).

Rebooted phone, took about 1.5 minutes to reboot and went through activation.

Now playing around with it, especially Google Now!

Current Issues: (1) Why didn't Youtube/Google Play Music/Google Chrome and other Google Applications get installed automatically? A few applications got installed. I hope I used and installed the right GApps file. I need to install fresh my applications now from Play Store.

(2) I normally use Hotmail Application and when opening my e-mails, it does not show the attachment that comes along with the e-mail. I downloaded Adobe Reader and Documents To Go (.doc reader) and didn't resolve the issue.

(3) When logging in using the e-mail application, the screen stays on "Waiting for sync. Your email will appear soon." Waited for a while and the emails didn't appear.

(4) My Verizon Mobile does not work. States that a Client Login needs to be downloaded. I need this to work so that I can manage my talk/data limits.
