I'm new to the forum and I want to root my unlocked Verizon Note 3. Its an 900v and it has version 4.4.4 on it. If someone can explain or post a link it would be greatly appreciated!

@Unforgiven how do I find that subforum??
From the home page (androidforums.com) scroll down to the Android Phones section (roughly 1/4 of the way down the page.
Below the pictures the more popular phones are listed.
In the third column you will see the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 forum. Click that link.
This next part may be a touch confusing, so bear with me at it is a user option and the default changed recently.
Either at the top of the thread list or the bottom of the thread list (it varies by user's defaults) you will see a light blue box with 6 links, a generic Root, ones for each carrier, and an intenational. Your (this) thread is under the (Verizon) Galaxy Note 3 - All Things Root link.
