Root [Verizon] Running CM10

I honestly can't answer that. I just started looking into the custom kernels and have avoided tinkering with them until I'm reasonably sure I know what I'm doing (not out of fear, I just don't have that much time right and it took me a while to learn what I know so far).
 
ROM Manager only supports the stock cwm. What you want is cwn kexec, which I can get you a link for later.
 
Has anyone been able to get foxfi or any other tethering app to work on cyanogenmod 10 for Verizon version of galaxy s3? I really like cyanogenmod, but tethering is important to me. Also I lost the ability of touch screen zoom on the camera.
 
so i unlocked my bootloader and went ahead and flashed invisableks cm10 rom. when it went to restart right after flashing the rom, it appeared to have restarted a few times in the process. i thought this was only when you flashed roms with the kexec method. any ideas? also, all my pics seem to be gone from my gallery...

ok...well it shouldn't be bootlooping...if it is its still thinking there is some kexec nonsense going on...

the latest build (non-kexec) is 1438...

grab 1438 from that link...and the JB GApps...

wipe and flash...

also, might not hurt to update your recovery either...

you can get an ODIN flashable CWM 6.0.1.2 (both touch and non-touch) here

yes, i wiped before i flashed the cm10 rom. and i'm not sure i understand your second question. this is the first rom i've flashed on this phone. all i did before this was flash the recovery and use the ez unlock app for the bootloader. also, i just realized that for some reason it doesn't give me the option to turn nfc on.

well the latest version that i linked you to "1438" will probably be his last...since the VZW GS3 has been added to the Official Nightlies, he doesn't see the need to keep building them...

so 1438 will be it for him...but its also probably the most stable build right now...

sorry bud...thats invisiblek's latest (and last) build...idk if the official nightlies have NFC either...

im staying away from CM10 for the time being...too many issues

Edit: The official CM10 builds also do NOT have NFC
