Keep in mind that 720p, 1280x720 (16:9) is a different aspect ratio than WVGA 800x480 (15:9).. its the same width.. just taller

Also, the larger screen is there to make up for the softkeys in ICS, which are already present as physical buttons in other designs.

So it's unlikely the Prime will be significantly larger than the current 4.3" WVGA phones..

Thanks. Good points. 4.65" with ICS and no other buttons would be great but recent info indicates it will have buttons. Just have to wait more to see what really comes. My Incredible is holding up but I've had it since launch and that is just too long to have the same phone.

That's what I was thinking too, so I won't be disappointed at 1.5Ghz OMAP4 in Prime.

But then again, what phone is this new Exynos for? SGS3 is rumored to be powered by even faster quad core Exynos next year. So if that rumored shortage of OMAP4 really affected Prime, not only Archos tablet, then I won't be surprised to see this new Exynos in Prime. That would be great bonus! Or maybe it's reserved for Note.

Your record shows you joined AF in March this year. So you were there with different name then? Anyhow the rate which NP forum is posted is just incredible now. While I was typing, it's like several others are posted already.

Not very likely. The Official HTC Incredible thread had right around 1000 pages (can't recall if they hit 1000 or not), but I remember people making a joke that verizon wouldn't release it until we hit 1000 pages and when it was announced we were awfully close. The announcement came a couple of weeks before it released so it's possible they hit that mark.

The difference was that there weren't near as many choices for android at that time. There was basically the G1, OG Droid, Nexus1, the Eris, and the Hero at the time. I'm sure I'm missing a couple more but that's the ones that stick out. Now with so much saturation and different choices, I don't think that any phone will top that thread.

As far as the rate of posting, on that thread if I did a post like this one I'd be about a page behind, maybe more.
