Root Verizon SM-N910V Bootloader Unlock?

I currently own the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Frost White. It is NOT the Developer Edition. And the bootloader is currently still locked and i am unable to get root access using Chainfire's CF-Auto-Root package on Odin 3.09. My current software build is KTU84P.N910VVRU1ANJ5. His Auto-Root package is for a different build. My question is: How can i get the bootloader unlocked? Verizon won't assist and Samsung won't either... Claiming that it's a federal crime for them to divulge that information, and that they don't offer any paid service for unlocking bootloaders either.

I understand that i can just purchase the Developer Edition, but considering i've already purchased this Note 4 for close to $800....I would prefer not to spend that kind of money again when there may be a simple fix to this issue. If there is someone that offers the service of Unlocking the SM-N910V's Boot loader, that would be excellent. Can anyone offer some feedback or possibly an alternate root method for my specific build?

Welcome to our AndroidForums!

I've moved your thread over here to the Note 4 all-things-root area for you.

The guys (and gals :)) in here should best be able to advise you on what options you might have.

Cheers and best of luck!

Unfortunately there is no bootloader unlock available, and so far there is no root method available for the Verizon Note 4 :(

There is a root method for the original software build for the dev edition ending "ANI1" By Chainfire, using his CF Auto Root file and Odin. However, my logic is telling me that they locked it down....so they must have an unlock method through some official channel.. Whether it's for a fee or free. Neither Samsung, nor Verizon, will step up.

Have you considered getting the Developer Edition, transferring your files, and selling your retail note 4? Just a thought. You won't break even, but it's a lot cheaper than buying two phones outright...
