Signal always at three bars or better.
Flashed phone, now only get one bar.

Can modem be flashed on Note 2 - I605

The number of bars is totally arbitrary - there's no standard for how much signal a bar represents. Use an app like SignalCheck Lite to check the actual strength of the signal. (Two phones coming off the assembly line at the same time, running on the same network in the same spot can show a different number of bars.)

Would this be the same as going to;
Menu, Settings, About, Status, Signal Strength = -97 dBm 1 asu

I understand the higher the dBm, the lower the signal.
