[Verizon] stuck in recovery, just wiped

Background- was having problems with cwm/rom manager messing up my gallery and music, had it sorted out for a while, then must've messed it up again. So I flashed cwm 5.5.0.2 from rom manager to hopefully jump before the problem or something.

Anyway, I went into recovery to re flash my rom and after I wiped I went to install zip from sd card, and I get E:can't mount /sdcard! . I went to restore a backup and same thing.

How do I go about fixing this? I think what I've found is mostly saying to push a zip to my phone, but how would I install it if I can't mount the sd card?

So I went into fastboot and flashed the newest cwm. Now instead of "can't mount /sdcard" I get no files found. I'm going to push a nandroid to my phone in the hopes of it at least getting alot of my pics back.

You could flash the stock unrooted factory images that you can download from google to flash via the bootloader either manually or through the use of a tool kit. This will completely wipe the device and eliminate root, but your phone will work again.

Why would I have to go back that far? Can I just push a nandroid from my computer through adb and flash in recovery? Would I have to compress my backup into a .zip?

When I do that I get : the system cannot find the path specified. Should I command: adb push <my rom.zip>/sdcard/ instead of /data/media/ ?

Double Edit: I was just typing it wrong, but I eventually got a rom loaded onto my phone and it's working right now. What I needed to type was : adb push rom.zip /sdcard/ and then push the gapps and it's loaded up right now.
