[Verizon] tried rooting, stuck in boot loop

i just see "google" and a lock (unlocked). was following these steps (no experience with this lol)

hopefully i didn't brick it. i tried rebooting in recovery mode, but none of the options work, and my mac doesn't recognize the phone...

ok, i got it back to settings factory-all's well (don't ask me how i did it lol), how can i tell if it's still unlocked?

well how'd you do it?
I had this problem... flashed a gsm ROM first week of having the phone. I am on VZW... lol.

I used wug's toolkit to go back to stock. Then flashed the correct ROM for my device.

But just in case someone else has this issue, how did you fix it?

i held down all three buttons, and did a factory reset

I'm not familiar with that tool above. You may read through that thread to see if you missed a step or something. I have a mac, but i rooted my G nex myself using adb commands. It takes all of about 15 minutes.
