How do I install trwp on a rooted Verizon version g2. I've googled it can't can't find a clear way

pretty simple really..... if you want to go the easy route

download and install an app called Flashify from the play store

download TWRP 2.7 from Dees_Troy over on XDA at this link (in the second posting of the thread, make sure you download the version for your carrier verizon)

[RECOVERY][G2] TWRP 2.7.0.0 touch recovery [2014-03-10] - xda-developers

once you have the TWRP file on your phone and Flashify installed...... open flashify..... flash a zip file.... select the TWRP file and let it do its work

Flashify now finds the recovery for you. So you dont have to go looking for the download file. I did this last night and it works great.

Is there a way to install it without a usb cable. mine was stolen and it is impossible to find like original in stores. i really do not like buying online. too many bad experiences.

i downloaded flashify but too scared to do anything else. i dont have a usb cable to fix things if i brick it and i googled installing twrp via flashify and saw a lot of people had problems.

Is Flashify working for installing recovery on KK? I thought an aboot/patched kernel modification was necessary ala Autorec?

No flashify doesnt work for kitkat 4.4. I got the black screen of death a few times. I possibly misread this and thought he was on 4.2.2 still.

All you would do is the same as the above person said look up autorec and go from there. Do a youtube video of this first just to see how it goes.

He might still be on JB, I don't see where he specified either. Just figured we'd cover all bases between all of our replies just in case.
