Verizon verion work on T-Mobile?

Anyone know if the Verizon version supports T-Mobile's frequency/bands?

Taking a quick look on the Samsung website, it claims to support the gprs/edge 2g, lte, and refarmed to the 1900MHz hspa+, but not the 1700MHz that their hspa normally is.

Maybe for data but for calling I doubt it since verizon is cdma and tmobile is gsm.

But most top tier Verizon phones are global phones capable of full voice, text, and data on the gsm frequencies they support. However I have a suspicion that it could be sim locked to prevent usage on American gsm networks.

Can you get them to unlock them, or will they only do it for overseas bands? OR, if it's rooted/ ROM'ed, does that take the restriction away? I'm just asking for curiosity's sake about Android phones in general.

If it's anything like previous phones, it should be unlocked already, but with programming to block the apns for at&t and T-Mobile based networks. This thus blocks data and mms on the device unless the restriction is removed. If you were to go overseas, it should be totally open for any network assuming it supports the frequencies.
