Root [Verizon] verizon galaxy s3 in korea(KT) network error!

I recently brought my gs3 to south korea with me and bought sim here (KT) so that i could use it. at first, I could call & text with very very slow data. But soon I found out my phone force closes the call app and doesn't allow me to receive a call, so i flashed newer version of my Rom, pacman 4.2.2 5/24/13. However, since then my phone doesn't have any network. when i check the phone info, it always fail to get ping IpAddr. It does NOT let me to pick GSM mode anymore either (when i select GSM, it changes back to LTE/GSM/CDMA auto or something that I select that is not something GSM). I still have IMEI. I've tried flashing back to stock rom but no luck =/. I cannot take it back to verizon store since I'm in Korea, do you guys have any suggestions how to fix this?

I don't know how much help I can be but, it appears that your baseband (radio) is incorrect for that part of the world?

Perhaps shutdown, pull the sim card, reboot without the sim. Let it fully boot up then shutdown again, reinsert sim, reboot.

thanks for your reply but that didn't do much for me =/
I feel like I dealt with this problem before but I'm not really sure what fixed this before. I have no idea what to do anymore =/
