Help Verizon version connectivity issue

I just bought the G4 from Verizon and had issues staying online right away. I thought the device was defective and got a new replacement phone. The issue remains, my phones randomly disconnects from the internet every 5 mins or so whenever it's connected to a wifi network. Whether the wifi network has an internet connection or not makes no difference. If anyone knows a fix to this issue and would let me know the help would be greatly appreciated.

I have this phone on verizon using it around town at various places with Wi-Fi and I am not having that issue nor at home with my Wi-Fi. Sounds like an issue with what ever Wi-Fi you are connecting too. Mary
