[Verizon] Which Kernel and Why...?

started using franco kernel yesterday, best battery life ive had. it throttles back cpu when it begins to overheat yet into doesnt sacrifice smoothness
 
i was using lean kernel for a bit but then i started getting a PHONE_REGISTRATION_ERROR so i ran into some problems. i dont think it was lean kernel because i switched back to the original kernel from Shiny rom and i had the same problem. only with the same app though. and i noticed some problems with sync.
 
I run air kernel final release with cm10 stable release. And have had great battery and not one issue. But each chip set like different flavors.
