[Verizon] Why aren't my contacts syncing up?

So I was running LiquidSmooth 1.4 with no issues, but I got antsy and decided to flash AOKP B40, but as it was when I flashed JellyBean, my contacts are not syncing up after flashing. All my apps and backup settings are loading fine, but my contacts just aren't showing up. The only ones that are there are my G+ contacts. Anyone got any suggestions?

Quick note, I can nandroid back at any time and everything is fine.

it could be a fault within the rom, try wiping cache and dalvik cache.

or reinstall the rom and try again

i know it sucks but it could just be a fault in the installation, as most roms act differently when reinstalled

When I flashed over to AOKP I did a clean wipe. I wiped data, wiped cache and dalvik cache. I've since flashed back to my Liquid nandroid

and your aokp is the one giving you issues? which version of aokp? i wonder if there were other users who had this issue, to me it sounds like a google account sync issue, try unsyncing, or removing your google account, and re add it

I had an issue with my contacts after I loaded a JB ROM too. I went into Settings>Apps>All Apps>Contacts (and Contacts Storage I think, try one or both) and cleared data. After that it resynced my contacts from my Google account and it seems fine.

I was trying the latest build, B40, but it wasn't just AOKP since when I tried getting JB 1.2 last week, the same issue was present.

Should I do that after flashing or before?

you can do that after flashing if your contacts arent syncing

you can also uncheck sync contacts, reboot phone(dont have to, but couldnt hurt) then check sync contacts and see if it actually starts

I'm really regretting forgetting to make a nandroid of both the JB rom and AOKP rom lol. I'll try it out when I'm off work but thanks for the input =)
