[Verizon] Why can't I restore my Nandroid backup?

Sad to say, I've run into an issue that I haven't experienced before, and I can't figure out what to do.

First of all, my set up:

I have a Verizon Gnex running AOKP's 4.2 version, with CWM Touch as my recovery.

I have flashed ROMS and created/restored nandroids before without problems.

Today I made a nandroid, and clean flashed Paranoid Android 3.0. Once it finished instralling I realized I hadn't properly backed up my apps with Titanium backup so I decided to restore the nandroid.

However, after booting into recovery and attempting to restore, I get the message 'File not found', which doesn't make sense because my back up is sitting there under Clockworkmod/backup/.

Does anyone know what might have caused this, and if there's any way of using that backup?
 
Happened to me before. Ended up making new nandroid backup from TWRP. This created a new file structure that I then moved my old backup into.
 
The best I can tell from your symptoms is that you _might_ have been using CWM 6.0.1.5 touch. The latest Jelly Bean update from Android 4.1.2 (which I believe Paranoid Android 3.0 is based upon) to a Jelly Bean/Android version 4.2.x rom could be the culprit. Meaning that to go from JB 4.1.2 to JB 4.2.x requires an update to your custom recovery.

Please tell us what version of CWM you have installed.
 
Yep, it's v6.0.1.5. However, I was coming from AOKP (a 4.2 based ROM) to PA 3.0 (also a 4.2 ROM). Would that still cause a problem?

I ended up just going through the hassle of manually installing my apps and setting up things, so it's no longer an issue. Though I think I"ll switch to TWRP to prevent this happening in the future.
 
Ooops on the Android version of Paranoid Android.

Yes, either go with TWRP or to the latest CWM which I think is 6.0.2.3. You should do this before you flash another rom or even make another backup. As it stands, you may have some duplication of files on your 'sdcard'.
