Verizon Wireless - $50 to Spend on Any Device or Accessory

I was going to buy mine, except they don't take Paypal. I don't know that site, and it seems like one big marketing ploy. They won't be getting my card info. $25 isn't that serious.
They're pretty big, not as big as Groupon but fundamentally the same. Bought some movie theater tickets and an Amazon gift card from them before with no issues. Like Groupon, you have to weed out the sites that will hike their prices once the deal goes live, but fortunately Verizon doesn't have that problem.

Livingsocial.com Site Info

And you could just use a virtual CC if you have that.

After looking at it more closely - I thought the exact same thing. I am going to pass :):)

It's funny - the only step in the process I took was putting in my Gmail address (no other information), and within 30 minutes I got a gmail message saying "Someone in your family has died, and your are the sole inheritor, blah, blah, blah". It is an obvious inheritance scam, but I thought the coincidence was odd to say the least. I've never gotten anything like that in the past.

you may have heard about gmails instant extra alias system... where you@gmail.com will also get mail from you+livingsocial@gmail.com ... and then if livingsocial sells your email to some list, you'll know it, because you can see it in the "to:"

There's also a free service called mailnull that does exactly the same thing with something like you.suspectedspammer1@mailnull.com

they're both free services and I don't have experience with mailnull, but I know a free gmail account has built-in spam filters AND can automatically forward mail to whatever eMail address you usually use... you'd only have to log in to check to see if anything is in the spam filter and if so, maybe see who sold your address.

I see a lot of people talk about loyalty credit on top of NE2. I have one of those cards too, but I would tend to think they are just NE2. Look at the bottom right of the coupon and see it says "NE2#." Mine says "NE25", thus meaning "New Every 2, $50"

sorry if this has been addressed. I am just speculating that it is the same, as other have too.

I also posted a question about this in the Verizon forum... but it apparently gets little to no traffic, as there are no replies.

ooh, I multiquoted!

Oh and another question: I got the LivingSocial deal but now I'm thinking of pre-ordering online instead. The only reason I would want to do this is because there could be a chance that the phones ship out early (a la Rezound, RAZR, etc.)
What do I do?! :S

BTW sorry if I keep posting about the same stuff over and over again, I'm just getting so obsessed with this phone lol

Use it on accessories or see if you can preorder via telesales.

Get some cool accessories! A dock, perhaps, or a MHL-HDMI converter cable.

So yeah, I got that LivingSocial deal. I'm pretty sure I got it using cincycats51's referral link. It was quoted in a post from Huskerkate, but it still ought to give you credit.

If anybody else is considering it, and wants to spread the love around, click on this...

If the Nexus is $300, minus $25 from this, minus $50 upgrade credit from VZW, minus $200 contest winnings from www.thefringepodcast.com, I'm looking at $25 out of pocket. :D
