I did! But something has gone awry...I cannot make phone calls or receive them. I'm getting ' contacts has stopped when I try to make a call the Skype thing pops up. Can't seem to find the phone dialer...

Mike, I'm this close to getting a damned JitterBug phone and leaving this high tech stuff to the stronger at heart :mad:

No I made the nand via TWRP but what's really yankin my chain is that the recovery doesn't see my file structure at all!

I may just have to do that - don't want to, I thought I'd be able to just restore a backup...SHeesh!
 
Take a deep breath, step back, go have a smoke (or ice cream) (lol) and come back and flash a clean download of your favorite rom.

Ok,,,this may have been a gapps issue. I noticed that I had a gapps for 4.3 and I'm running 4.2.2....so I have just reflashed the proper gapps file and it seems to be behaving a lot better! Whew.

I violated my cardinal rule #1 and that is "NEVER, under ANY circumstance, work on ROMs or gapps or WHATEVER inside my device when it is approaching bedtime." :p Many mistakes can happen and in a very few keystrokes! :smokingsomb:
