[Verizon] Wugs Root tool & 4.2.2

I'm coming accross a GNex, unrooted and on 4.2.2. I've downloaded Wugs but it doesn't have anything for the 4.2.2 release. There is the *.*.*... will that work OK for the 4.2.2 ok?

The version it says I'm on... the verizon doesn't have 4.2.2 so the any version is *.*.*. I believe I'm on the latest version of Wugs. It's the 1.6.3... I let it update and I can't see anything more recent. I'm getting the phone tomorrow afternoon and I'd like to be on Paranoid Android ASAP.

I used this method yesterday and it worked just fine. I opened the toolkit, let it update to 1.6.3, then changed Android Build to *.*.* and I got root back within minutes. So far all of the apps I have that require root are working just fine. Good luck!

If you go to Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.3 | WugFresh and select nexus toolkit v1.6.3 which is higlighted in blue on the page that comes up says "All the latest Android builds and Nexus devices are now officially supported with full 4.2.2 support."

I did see that 4.2.2 is fully supported, but it didn't have that specific build as an option. Good to know it will work... I'll be de-Bolting this evening and getting up with the Nexus. The ROMs with the newer phones are fantastic compared to the dino-single-core phones.

Don't know about WUG's, but you can also get it either with Rom Manager, or scary alien's android root toolkit.

good luck

flashed everything and tried to flash PA 3+... stuck in boot loop now can't do anything. recovery isn't perminant... so now I can't restore a BU or anything. I couldn't get CWM Recovery to flash when I was on stock rooted. but now I don't have a recovery to resort to. I'm begging for help!
