HTC has fix in the works for EVO 4G screen sensitivity; separation problems are minor -- Engadget

• The glass separation issues are real, but said to be super minor and have no effect on the usability of the phone apart from a nearly imperceptible "give" to the touch. That said, HTC has made some assembly changes that should reduce or eliminate the problem going forward, and it'll keep an eye on the situation.
• This is really interesting: the screen sensitivity problems are also real and are apparently far more prevalent in arid climates, but it can be fixed with a software patch alone. That patch will be rolling out to EVOs soon.

anyone going to wait a while and try and trade up for a version 4 ?

I am not. I dont even notice my minor light leakage with my gel cover on and my screen isnt really an issue. I would only return it if it started to come apart.

I read where version 003 (and maybe 002) have an even more sunken power button. Comments?

Um read the article. Screen sensativity fix is software, not hardware.

So what would be the purpose of waiting?

Im not sure when a Build #4 will come but at some point in time it will, right now who knows. It may be next week or 6 months from now. Now we need some programming updates more than anything.
