Help VERY ANNOYING!! timer wont stop beeping

so I had a timer set and it beeps when its done. if you have the timer page open, a popup comes up that says dismiss. however, if you aren't on the timerpage and you are doing something else when it goes off, it will just keep beeping and there is no button to shut it off!!!! are you kidding me? this is the worst glitch i have found on this phone.

If you're referring to the alarm clock, then yes it is quite annoying. I had to turn off the phone to stop the beeping

mine wasn't the alarm clock. My alarm clock works fine as far as I know. I use it every morning and just press the power button for snooze.

I had set a timer for 45 minutes and i was doing something else on my phone when it went off.

I am also finding it annoying to have to reboot my HTC Incredible phone to turn off the timer sound. I am surprised there are not more people posting about this issue, lucky I found this thread, let's see if an update resolves this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=882878
