Very important question on making volume louder. *please read*

Well, I guess his thread title is better than those.. "HELP" and "I got problems" type titles. I just thought it was kind of funny. *please read*

I get the same I think it might be cause they are using a different Galaxy S phone if it makes a difference, or maybe OS is different.

*#28346# Thats the only one I could get with audio on it.

I just tried this today and found that those settings do not stick. They won't save. bummer.

Man, mine has been perfect since I did the change. I have "Audio manager" app which I don't think matters but it allows me to change system volume to the new max or completely off. There are 6 volumes to control. If the settings change stick, you'll find that the key strokes for anything like dialing or apps are too loud so after using Nav (the new settings ramp up to max once you open Nav). I go to "audio manager" to lower sys volume so the keys are not so loud. I am on vibrate 90% of the time so it usually is no big deal. Try that app and see if it helps.

If you are not rooted I can't imagine why this won't stick. Oh wait, yes I can; that stupid OTA upgrade that we all thought was a real 2.2 has screwed things up- like my phone won't mount to the computer anymore. In fact, mount is not an option. It says Media sync: Connecting and never connects.
