Root very quick kernel question please

ok so after finally getting the ubuntu repo done and all this other stuff i'm down to this part about adding changes to the kernel it says........

You can find your kernel config at kernel/[manufacturer]/[codename]/arch/arm/configs/ cyanogenmod_[codename]_defconfig.

so I know I'm in the right spot but is this file.... shooter_defconfig ...the same as ...cyanogenmod_[codename]_defconfig ? because I can't find anything with cyanogenmod in the front of it. and i want to be sure i'm editing the right file.

thanks. now i just got to do something dealing with proprietary blobs or whatever and put in some kinda patch. hopefully i can get it done today
