Help Very slow 4G speed

For some reason on my phone, the speed is very slow, even when it says I'm connected to 4G. For example, I recently got the speedtest app and it said that my download speed was consistently around .05 Mbps and my upload speed was actually higher, around .1 Mbps. This doesn't make much sense to me. Any ideas?

I think that speed test app is junk because it never is close to what my wifi is . And also it has servers from all around the world so it must be a dummy app

speedtest from ookla is legit. Been using it almost two years between two different phones. Actually is pretty accurate when I'm checking against my verified wifi connection. Are you running the stock ROM? Also, what part of the world are you in? What is your signal strength usually like?

Yes I was using the Ookla speed test app
I live in Illinois, very close to Chicago
I usually have 3 or 4 bars of signal so thats probably not the problem.
What is the stock ROM??

MWUAHAHAHA! I get between 9-12 mbps at my house and around town with just 4g (no wifi). BTW... speed test is as legit as you can get. Been using it for almost a decade... starting on pc.
