Root Very Strange Boot Loop Can't Find Info Anywhere

I have a very strange boot loop sequence. I've searched the for and google but have yet to find a problem like mine. I have been running Velocity 1.2.2 Beta 14 since January when my 4th and last Ally decided to go out like all the others. I flashed the rom with no problems. I just use it for music and to play Drag Racing now. Yesterday it powered down, and now is stuck in a weird boot loop. I have to have the battery in and have it plugged in to do anything. Then a red light flashes for about 5 minutes. I will go to the first Velocity screen for a few seconds then does it all over again. I have managed to get into clockwork recovery and to a data wipe. When I try to re-install Velocity it reboots at the same time it does at the Velocity screen, so there isn't enough time for it to re-install. I'm out of ideas, is it bricked forever?

Honestly, it sounds like the flash memory is corrupt. :/ That's what first came to mind, at least. Have you tried any other ROMs?
Also, I recommend that you use AmonRA. Seems to me like Clockwork Recovery has trouble flashing onto the phone, which could make the problem even worse.
 
It randomly started working yesterday when I plugged it into the charger. It was going fine until last night, then the same thing started up. I can't even get into recovery. Do you hold the send and menu buttons to get into recovery? Is it time to drop kick it? I'm getting an Xperia Play on Wednesday.
