Help viber icon

hi everyone,

ever since i bought my s2 it was very simple. when the phone was on silent mode there was a little icon on the top bar of a rotating cell.
my cell company urged me to do a software update and ever since it's confusing me.the viber icon is ALWAYS on the top bar and when u put it in silent mode there is also an icon of a muted speaker.
i know it silly but because of the habit i constantly think that i accidently put my cell on silent.
is there any way i can make that icon go away?

You are talking about the vibrate Icon. You cannot remove it unless you are rooted. The icon indicates you have set it to vibrate all the time.

Under silent mode, there will be another icon indicating the sound is off. Icon will not appear only if you have set the phone to no vibration, or vibrate only during silent mode.
