I feel you, but you don't have to just use it for GPS. I use the Arkon windshield mount to hold my phone while for bluetooth calling and streaming music to my stereo. It's convenient for using voice to text while I'm driving. When GPS is fixed, it'll be sweet!

Right now I'm using the vent mount mostly for Pandora on my car stereo and taking calls on my BlueAnt Bluetooth earpeice. I'll try using voice to text, I wonder if that works with Bluetooth...

That would be perfect if my 12v wasn't right in front of my shifter in my mustang. Don't think that long neck would work

I had one for my Apple iPhone 2G, and 3GS. I swear by these mounts. Amazing and solid. With that said, I have the Epic 4G on Sprint, and I'm waiting for them ot make the mount. However, I checked and here is the Vibrant mount for those interested: ProClip Mounting System
