Help Vibrate not working for texts or emails

anybody having this issue on handcent or stock text/email? it just started within the past day. my phone will no longer vibrate when i get texts or emails. sound works just fine. All the notifications are set to vibrate when phone is on vibrate mode. i even set it to vibrate always, and it still will not vibrate at all.

if i get a call however, the phone vibrates just fine.

any ideas?

well....a hard reset fixed it.... but for how long, who knows.

i also got the sound manager app too, just in case.

I had the same problem. Must be a bug in the os. I did a hard reset which did not fix the problem. I found Sound Manager on this thread and it fixed the problem. You can delete the app after you change the setting and it will continue to work!
