Root Vibrate Only Option

[Heruohta]

Hey, sorry if this is not ROM related but to be honest I'm not sure.

Before 2.2 There was a vibrate only option if you rocked the volume down just before the silent all option. Now, I can either only have vibrate with audio and a complete silent option; or a vibrate all option with no complete silent.

The vibrate only was great for things like movies, meetings, etc. The silent was great also when the vibrate itself is loud enough for an entire room to hear the buzz. Is there a script or an option I'm overlooking that would allow me to get that back?

I'm running BB v0.3, OC'd 1100 Max.

Thanks for your time.

Not sure but I was just noticing this on jrummy's rom's to. So hopefully someone will have a fix for this. I'm hoping cyanogen might get a fix for this with his version 6 coming out soon...

In the meantime I have found a widget called Silent Toggle Widget that seems to do the trick.

Silent Toggle works and beautiful widgets works too.

I don't think this is a problem with the ROM I think this will be in Froyo.

I too miss this feature a lot. If it was removed from froyo on purpose I have to ask why?!

agree, greatly miss this feature. I assume it has been removed from Froyo as none of the Froyo ROMs have it. Using beautiful silent widgets for now. Audio manager widget is nice as well.
