Help Vibrating in mute

I have my Note on 'Mute' during the day - and assumed that this would stop all vibrating notifications. However my phone still vibrates when I get a Facebook notification. I can probably turn these off in my facebook settings but surely this shouldn't happen when Mute is selected?

I just wondered if anyone else was experiencing this issue?

I have a similar issue - though not with Facebook. I am finding that Words With Friends will cause the phone to vibrate no matter what settings I have - even using AudioManager Pro to create profiles doesn't stop WwF from vibrating.

Basically apps can ignore your settings if they want to. It is the fault of the app not the phone settings. It would be nice if the notification options in these apps could be configured to obey profile settings such as silent mode.
