Help Vibration during Unlock

hi!

I upgrade my sprint phone to Motorola Photon 4g and its my first android phone.

Minus the battery performance, i liked it but i have some issues. I tried my best but i am still not able to get it 'not vibrate' period. Cos it still vibrates when i tap the screen to unlock. I reset the phone but that did not work either.

Did anyone else experience this ? and found a solution?

NOTE: I disabled ot Haptic feedback. but it still vibrates when i unlock. If you think this is a problem only with my phone and not generic to all photons, please let me know.

The Photon does have the screen unlock vibrate. It's annoying to me, but some ROMs like Alien Rom and soon (hopefully) Cyanogen provide different ways to unlock. Alien Rom allows you to press the HOME button to get past the lock screen. Cyanogen can allow you to just press on the touch screen to unlock which is sick.
 
yay! i found 2 apps on the android market that gave me 2 options to get over the annoying vibrate during unlock:

1) No Lock(disables the lock feature itself and takes you to home). Its ok ...i wont use it all the time but its free and i can get over the vibrate.

2) Widgetlocker Lockscreen - provides a lot of options and a custom lock screen where you have the power to disable the vibrate.

I almost planned to return the photon cos that vibrate on unlock annoyed me so much. But no longer :) I am now keeping it for 20 months before i can upgrade from Sprint again.

lol of all the things to be bugged about...

shoot i had to go check mine to even see if it does it.....
