Vibration for Notifications

Is there a way to make all notifications vibrate instead of sound a ringtone? Thanks!

Assuming you're using 2.0 on a Droid, I'm new to the Android scene but assuming it's the same you go to your messaging app and the on the menu click settings and it should be there.
