Vibration modes

Has anyone else noticed that the SGS2 will not stay in the "vibrate always" mode? I know this isn't an issue only on my handset because i have had the same problem after rooting and installing a custom ROM. I dont know what triggers the phone to go back to just ringing and not vibrating. But as i was saying, I can set into the vibrate always setting and after a while, it always seems to revert to the default setting of ring only.

Any thoughts?

tried pulling down the notification bar and clicking Vibration so it becomes "Sound Vibration"?
