Root Vibration Question

Is there a way to physical fix the vibration on my phone? Recently it has gotten "softer" than normal. It's not a software problem as I've wiped cache/dalvik-cache, rebooted, etc. so the only thing left is physical. Just a question.

I know, I'm wondering is there a way to fix it. I can (and have) opened my phone but I wouldn't know what to look at for the vibration thing.
No kidding? I have the exact same problem...I went to a sprint store. They told me they cannot fix it. I told them to just replace the vibration motor and they said it is soldered to the circuit board and they dont mess with that. They told me they could replace the phone with a refurb.. I said no way...maybe when it totally goes out I will but I'm in the same boat....weak vibration.
Thought about opening the phone and somehow applying some sort of "weight" to on end of the motor to make it vibrate harder. Or I even found a vibration motor online but it ships out of China...not so keen on that yet.
:)

Thanks. If it's soldered on then I'm probably screwed trying to fix it seeing as how I don't own a soldering tool :(

Well, one of these days I'm gonna go for it and try to fix it myself and I will let you know how it went....:D
For now I just need to fix another issue...ta ta for now.

In some roms there are haptic tweaks mabye increasing vibration until it feels normal again might help????

This ROM doesn't have that. I don't need it for haptic/keyboard/softkey haptic, I need it for notifications and phone calls. It's not weak weak but compared to my brother's and mother's EVOs it's weak

I don't even feel mine half the time in my pocket and its always on vibrate only. But ringers just annoy the crap out of me, and always go off exactly when I don't want them too.

At work I carry my phone, which has a belt clip, on the front of my shirt. (if I put it on my belt, it gets knocked off or scratched crawling under trucks). Anyway, my vibration is weak also and I get it confused between the phone vibrating or my wheezing. Sometimes when I breathe just right, I wheeze and think my phone is vibrating:p

Same here. Now I just keep it on silent. If I'm out anywhere my phone is usually in my hand anyway so I don't miss to many messages.
