Help video calling?

Just wondering where the option to make a video call is? I cant seem to find it? Im assuming its there somewhere since the phone has a front facing camera??

What do you mean what do i use?? On every phone ive had that is capable of video calling its just an option on the dial menu?

Yes both parties need to be using the same app. It woild be nice if 1 app would take the lead and be available fpr all phones,platforms,and carriers.

I cant believe android/google hasnt made its own version of facetime that comes preinstalled like all the rest of googles apps, Missing a trick there

What seems to be the problem ?? Skype has video calls...so whats that all about ??

Google Talk in Android 2.3.4 supports video chat (not yet available on the Play) and there is a version of Skype that works great for video calls on the Play in stock form, no rooting necessary. Do a Google search for "Skype 2.0 patched to work on Xperia Play with Video Chat"

Thanks for the input guys. I know there are various apps that support video calling my original query was as to why there isnt a preinstalled common app for the phone so i could for instance ring anyone with a video phone without them having to download the same app. Just think its a bit of a waste of time otherwise?
