Help Video Chat possible?

[rock2047]

I know gt540 doesn't feature front camera
But is there any way to use video chat using the rear one.

I just upgraded to 2.3.5 from original 2.1

I don't think so because most video chats on phones don't use the rear camera.
I have a GT540 running 1.6, Skype might work on yours, but i can't try since skype is only compatible with android 2.1 and up.

Well.. Skype claims to be using rear cam but it never worked on mine running 2.3.5
However. I have been using yahoo messenger successfully for video calls and it works without a problem ... so the answer is that it does work ...
